Where a Woman Can Turn Her Life Around

Program Components

Bethany Hall provides a strong therapeutic program with an emphasis on critical skills building components. Our holistic approach is designed to address the variety of needs unique to women suffering from addiction. Women at Bethany Hall not only participate in addiction treatment, but also work to address contributing issues such as domestic violence and sexual assault; as well as to improve their health, parenting skills and career and/or educational opportunities.
Counseling and Therapy: Bethany Hall provides these services on a 24/7 hour basis.  Bethany Hall has a trained staff that provides the tools for the women to progress and learn about and make significant progress in their recovery.

Yoga: Bethany Hall is concerned with the health and well-being of our women. A weekly yoga class for clients is scheduled. This involves stretching, simple breathing exercises and meditation. It also gives participant a chance to learn ways to reconnect with themselves as well encouraging self-awareness and self-care.

Acupuncture: Bethany Hall includes acupuncture treatments as part of the schedule. Acupuncture is one of the best known alternative therapies. Studies have shown that acupuncture may decrease cravings for addictive substances.

Reiki: Reiki is another holistic approach to therapy that Bethany Hall utilizes. Reiki is a form of massage that involves spiritual healing and is said to increase sense of well-being.

Participation is 12-step Programs: Bethany Hall encourages participation in 12-step programs such as Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. Staff provides transportation to a variety of meetings throughout the area. As a result, clients have the opportunity to interact with others in recovery and build a strong support network.

24/7 Support and Understanding: Bethany Hall has trained staff and/or therapists on site at all times. Clients are encouraged to talk about the issues facing them and to seek the support they need in their recovery.

"What an incredible thing to watch the evolution of someone when they first come into the program; the few weeks of uncertainty, fear, maybe anger. Slowly they move to find quiet within themselves...Yoga gives them tools they can use for the rest of their lives. It can be a form of exercise, stress relief and energy renewal."
- Jill Loftis, Yoga Instructor
